Why is the Chromecast icon not appearing?

  1. If there is no Chromecast icon showing on the 7digital app or site, first check that both your Chromecast and device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network
  2. Another common fix is to power off the Chromecast and wait for it to reconnect. It should then allow you to select the device
